Another active day.
I didn’t do any specific exercise, but I stayed busy at work this morning and came home and walked Apollo.

Monday, Monday.

4 AM came way too soon this morning.

But, I made it through the work day and came home to this precious face.

We played outside and walked around the apartment complex.

Got in all my steps today and had fun doing it.

Being back on track also has it’s benefits.

Saturday Update

Early morning wake up call. 5 AM. I slept over Amanda’s, so we enjoyed drinking coffee and chatting in the wee hours of the morning. At 6, we headed to Atlanta to pick up the older brother to take on Stone Mountain.

That mountain is something else. I have never conquered a terrain such as Stone Mountain. I have done Kennesaw Mountain, but that is all dirt trails.

I had a good time conquering this beast with the older siblings. We chatted and pushed each other to the top.

After the mountain, we decided to get stop and get some doughnuts at one of the best doughnut shops in the Atlanta area. Boy, they were the real deal. I got a toasted almond and a chocolate frosted yeast doughnut. I also sampled the bacon maple doughnut and chocolate peanut butter banana fritter. All were so dang good.

Later, we all went our separate ways and showered and whatnot. Bryan and I had an appointment to meet with a woman who breeds AKC Golden Retrievers. We drove about 75 minutes and when we met the puppies, we fell in love with a chunky little guy. We signed the papers and were on our way. We named him Apollo after the Greek mythological sun god.

For the rest of the day, we watched football and played with the little chunkster, and tried to get him acquainted to his new home. He warmed up pretty easily. He is so sweet and loves to play.

It was a wonderful day!

Remember a few days ago when I said I was going to a low-carb lifestlye? Yeah…NOPE. I did it for three days then decided it’s not for me. I’m a cardio queen. I like my bread and pasta and fruit.
But I am still on the bandwagon. Four days going strong!
I talked with Bryan, and we are going to keep binge type foods out of the apartment.
Today, I did the Insanity Cardio Recovery workout with Bryan. A lot of burning in these legs. (My legs and butt are still killing me from the Insanity Cardio Circuit two days ago).
Feels good to be back on track and in control!
